1. Who will translate my text?
Your text will be translated by a professional mother tongue translator who specialises in your service sector.
2. What should I do if I don't want all the text in my document to be translated?
When you enter your order information, please specify the text sections that you want translated in "Translator Briefing".
3. Why are the prices different for different languages?
The prices professional translators charge differ according to the language combinations.
4. Can I have a text translated into more than one target language?
Yes, you can. Simply add the additional languages using the online cost calculator, and the price will alter accordingly. Please note that the price per line may vary between target languages.
5. What do I do if my text contains several languages?
If your text contains several languages, you can simply tell us in "Translator Briefing" when you enter your order details.
6. Can my texts be translated into languages that are not included on the website menu?
Our website shows the most popular language combinations. But they are not the only languages that we offer. If you cannot find your language in the menu, please enter the required language combination in "Translator Briefing" when you submit your order details. Please note that the price per line may vary for different language combinations.
7. Can I place translation orders outside business hours, too?
You can place your orders online at any time. The delivery time will take into account weekends / holidays.
8. Can I get my translation back on the same day?
Yes, with our express service. We generally do everything we can to meet your preferred deadline. Please note that turnaround times vary depending on how much text your uploaded file[s] contain.
9. How long will it take?
As soon as you confirm your order, we will give you a confirmed delivery time and date. We always endeavour to complete your translation in the fastest possible time.
10. How will I know when it's finished?
As soon as your translation is finished, you will receive an e-mail with the document[s] as an attachment.
11. Do I have to pay to register at language-Xchange?
No, registration of an online account is free for customers.
12. Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, our minimum charge is CHF 75.00.
13. What happens to my private data?
language-Xchange needs your personal information to process your order. Your security is a priority for us, and we treat your data with the highest confidentiality. You can access and edit/delete your personal details at any time. Please see our terms and conditions for more detailed information.
14. How secure is my information?
We encrypt your data to 448bit level. This is a protected encryption protocol for internet data transfers that meets highly secure banking standards. It prevents unauthorized parties from reading or manipulating data during transfers.
15. How is the confidential information in the text secured?
All of our translators sign a confidentiality agreement before they start to work with us, and we trace all traffic on our site. Your files are stored on our secure servers.
16. The cost calculator can't read my text. What can I do?
Certain files types cannot be read by our online cost calculator. If you encounter problems when uploading your document, please send an e-mail with the document to mail@language-Xchange.co.uk and we will be able to provide you with a manual quotation.
17. Is the quote from the cost calculator final, or are there any extra costs?
As soon as you enter your order details into the cost calculator you will receive a fixed price for the translation. We guarantee that there are no additional or hidden costs.
18. Is your translation offer binding?
Our translation offer is provided without any obligation for you. We, however, are bound by the quoted prices and the delivery time. That means you can rely fully on our offer.
19. What can I do if I'm not completely satisfied with a particular translation?
We're always happy to receive feedback. If you have any suggestions concerning a translation, our service team will be happy to assist you at any time.
